De Langre Emmanuel
Emmanuel de Langre is a professor of mechanics at the École Polytechnique. He has worked as an engineer in the French nuclear industry. His main research interests are fluid-structure interactions and vibrations of structures such as heat exchangers or submerged cables, but also natural systems such as crops and trees that deform under the action of wind. He has created and taught the course on fluid-structure interactions at Ecole Polytechnique for more than ten years. He is currently the editor of the Journal of Fluids and Structures.
