Moodle gets a new look!

Moodle will undergo a major transformation in July. This update will bring a brand new interface, providing an even more enjoyable and intuitive online learning experience.

Moodle, our online teaching platform, will be upgraded from version 3.11 to version 4.2 and will undergo a major update in July. This upgrade will bring a brand-new interface and improved usability, offering teachers and students an even more comfortable and intuitive online learning experience.

Migration steps.
To ensure a smooth transition, here are the key steps in the migration process.

May 9, 2023: Release of the test platform, allowing students to discover new features and give us their feedback. moodle-next.polytechnique.fr

May to July: Get to grips with the new release and collect your experiences: explore your courses, the activities you have implemented, the features you use, and the new ones. Tell us about components that you don't find in the new version or, on the contrary, about new functionalities! This feedback will be the subject of more intensive support or workshops to discover new features.

July: Week 30 or 31, automatic migration of the production platform to the new version of Moodle, ensuring a seamless transition.

The Teaching & Learning Center will be available to assist you throughout the process and answer any questions you may have.
