Disability

The word “disability” describes a limitation in an individual’s ability to interact with their environment, caused by a deficiency resulting in a permanent or temporary incapacity, which causes stress and moral, intellectual, social and/or physical distress.

Welcoming and supporting disabled students is a priority for École Polytechnique, from their arrival on campus to their vocational integration (assistance in internship seeking, recognition of the status of disabled worker).

The Equal Opportunity Center (PEC) and the Disability Officer are there to support all disabled students or those encountering health issues affecting their studies, with the implementation of tailored arrangements for the organization, execution and guidance of their studies.
