Health and Counseling Services

The medical center located on the École Polytechnique's campus is divided into four entities: a medical service, a preventive care service, a psychology service and a social service.

The medical service

This service is for students and military officers.
It is open for all types of medical consultation and to obtain a medical certificate. Families and civilians may use the service if the doctors are available.

The preventive medicine service

This service is reserved for École Polytechnique staff.
It deals with the occupational health problems of the site's civilian staff.

The Counseling service 

Students enrolled in one of the School's programs and staff members can benefit from support from one of the School's clinical psychologists.

The social service

This is a service provided for staff. It is for the people working on the campus and their families, providing support with personal, family, professional or financial problems.

The DHAMIS unit on sexual and sexist abuse

École Polytechnique is taking sexual and sexist abuse among its staff and students very seriously and enforce a zero-tolerance policy. 

École Polytechnique set up the DHAMIS unit (discrimination, harassment, mental health injury, sexual or gender-based offences and violence) to receive your reports of harassment,discrimination, moral, physical, gender-based or sexual violence (HDVS), as well as psychosocial risks (RPS). The DHAMIS unit (discrimination, harassment, mental health injury, sexual or gender-based offences and violence) is École Polytechnique’s central system designed to address HDVS or RPS situations. This unit is responsible for: Gathering testimonials; Supporting victims and witnesses; Referring them to the relevant assistance services and authorities.
