École Polytechnique in the world's Top 30 for graduate employability-THE
École Polytechnique has moved up two places in THE 2025 world ranking of universities for the employability of their graduates, to 26th place out of the 250 institutions evaluated.
It ranks third out of the 19 French universities included in this GEURS 2025 ranking, produced on the basis of data from the French consulting firm Emerging and published by Times Higher Education (THE).
The Global Employability University Ranking and Survey assesses the employability performance of higher education institutions in relation to employers' expectations. For its 14th edition, it was based on a survey of 13,240 executives and managers in 33 countries.
This survey shows that the acquisition of initial professional experience by students during their university studies, in the form of internships for example, is increasingly appreciated by employers. Nearly 46% of them also emphasize the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends, while 45% value soft skills such as communication skills and autonomy in their assessment of candidates.
The GEURS 2025 survey was conducted from June to September 2024.
