X-UP, École Polytechnique's Deeptech incubator, has won the “Booster” prize awarded by the jury of France Digitale's Talent Awards.

The “Booster” prize is one of the new categories among the various Talent Awards presented each year by France Digitale, the list of which has gradually expanded since the association was launched in 2012.

The Talent Awards recognize teams that “create value for the community through impactful actions in France and beyond,” according to the association's website.

The “Booster” category distinguishes “a French incubator or gas pedal that helps technology champions break through.”

The awards jury is made up of the two co-presidents of France Digitale, representatives of the Talent Awards partners - TeamTailor, Lombard Odier, Rothschild&Co, Caisse des Dépôts, Ynov, Arts & Métiers, Qare - and representatives of the previous year's winners.

The criteria taken into account are the quality of support, the structure's durability and success, and the originality of its approach and commitment.

X-UP, École Polytechnique's incubator, has this year introduced a new support offer for Deeptech start-ups.

France Digitale is an independent association governed by French law, which since 2012 has brought together start-ups and venture capitalists to promote innovation in France and Europe, with the aim of creating European digital champions.

On September 18, it brought together startup founders, investors and innovation leaders at the Musée des Arts Forains in Paris to take part in the 12th France Digitale Day (FDDay), a day entirely dedicated to the French and European tech community.

The event mobilized over 4,000 participants, with 500 meetings between investors and start-ups to raise funds, develop exchanges between participants and create new opportunities.

FDDay once again hosted CES Tech Trends, the first stage of the Consumer Electronic Show, the benchmark tech event held every year in Las Vegas.

France Digitale's Talent Awards were presented on this occasion.
