Join the Digital Cleanup Week workshops on March 11th and 12th!

On 11 and 12 March, join the Digital Cleanup Week workshops organised by the École polytechnique library.
Together, let's look at the files we keep on our devices that have become unusable or simply obsolete. Storing them, whether locally or in the cloud, has an impact on the environment. Not only do they consume energy unnecessarily, but more importantly, they force us to replace our equipment more quickly or buy new equipment to store more. The production of these new terminals accounts for 78% of the impact of digital technology, due to the high consumption of resources and transport costs. So let's be responsible and resilient by streamlining our practices.
In brief 30-minute workshops, we invite you to explore strategies for managing the accumulation of data—emails, images, videos, and more—across your computers, inboxes, and mobile devices.
We look forward to seeing you at the Library Reception on 11 and 12 March at 01:00PM.
