Discover the quarterly meetings of the "Mathematical Modelling and Biodiversity" Chair, a partnership between the École polytechnique and the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle supported by Veolia and the Fondation de l’École polytechnique. These events provide a platform for sharing and scientific innovation around biodiversity and applied mathematics. The next meetings will take place on 5 December 2024.
On November 26 and 27, the 32nd edition of X-Forum, the annual event bringing together students from l'X and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and over 150 international companies, schools and universities on the X campus, attracted almost 2,000 participants, including 1,000 Polytechnique students. Students from the Cycle ingénieur polytechnicien program, Master's and PhD students from École Polytechnique and other Schools came to meet their future employers.
École Polytechnique ranks 26th in THE world ranking of universities for the employability of their graduates, and 3rd in France. École Polytechnique gained two places in this worldwide ranking of 250 higher education and research institutions.

Catherine Rolland is project manager of the GameLab of the "Science and Video Games" Chair at the École polytechnique, for which she is preparing the new programme. She has been involved in a number of projects on education about the medium. In autumn 2023 she was named one of the 100 Cultural Women of the Year for her commitment to video games.
Launched by the SNCF group, the École polytechnique and the Fondation de l'École polytechnique, this new teaching and research chair will develop innovative AI-based technologies to improve the quality and sustainability of transport.
